What Is Skin Needling?

Skin needling is a renowned regenerating skin treatment that involves safely penetrating deep the skin to the dermal layers beneath with multiple sterile micro needles. The derma-roller micro needles range from 0.5 mm to 2.00 mm, and are specific to instigate a controlled microscopic wound and pin point bleeding. By creating these small pinpoints, your body’s natural wound healing response is initiated and collagen and elastic production in those areas is stimulated. The needling is completed with minimal damage to the epidermis, to ensure a safe and comfortable boost of collagen and a glowing complexion.

Skin needling can be used for scar reduction, uneven skin tone, reducing pore size, and the stimulation of collagen to reduce the appearance of fine lines, smokers lines, and wrinkles.

Is It Right For Me?

If you are concerned about fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne or chickenpox scars, naso-labial lines or smoker’s lines, or about the dull appearance of hands, face, decolletage, or neck, then micro-needling could be the perfect solution. Micro-needling is suitable for most skin types.

This may not be suited for:

Clients who have recently had an injectable dermal filler or Botox (within two weeks).
Areas with raised moles, warts, or lesions – this can be assessed and discussed during a consultation
Pregnant clients, or clients on certain medications that may reduce healing time.
